Description	:	Goldendale Sentinel March 9, 1995 Alan Riley Mr. Alan (Al) Riley, 52 passed away at Providence Hospital in Portland, Ore. He was born March 5, 1942 in Goldendale, where he lived for 25 years. He was employed by M&M Construction and then the Klickitat County Road Department. He moved to Seattle in 1967 where he was employed by Boeing Aircraft and O'Brien Water Ski Company. In 1973 failed health caused his return to Goldendale. Read More	Goldendale Sentinel March 9, 1995 Alan Riley Mr. Alan (Al) Riley, 52 passed away at Providence Hospital in Portland, Ore. He was born March 5, 1942 in Goldendale, where he lived for 25 years. He was employed by M&M Construction and then the Klickitat County Road Department. He moved to Seattle in 1967 where he was employed by Boeing Aircraft and O'Brien Water Ski Company. In 1973 failed health caused his return to Goldendale. In 1980 he moved with his mother, Mildred Riley, to White Salmon where he resided until his death. Despite a lifelong struggle with polio-related health problem, Al had a wonderful sense of humor, a deep love for his family and enjoyed life to the fullest. He had a passion for automobile and motorcycle racing an among many events, had attended the Indy 500 in 1985 as well as the 50th anniversary of the Black Hills Classic Motorcycle Rally in Sturgis, S.D. in 1990. Al is survived by his mother Mildred Riley; a son, Michael Riley of Kirkland; brothers, James Riley of Goldendale, Matthew Riley of White Salmon; a sister Linda Faust of Vancouver, Wash; and seven nieces and nephews also survive Preceding him in death was his infant son, Keith James; and his father, Ivan Riley. Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 11, at 1 p.m. at the New Life Assembly of God Church. Interment will be in the Mountain View Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests plants be given for a garden memorial in Alan's name. Arrangements are under the care of Erdman Funeral Home.
