Funeral services were held in St. Martin's church at 9a.m. Thursday, with Rev. Father A.G. Schaefer in charge, and interment made in the Catholic cemetery. Those who acted as bearers were: William and Nick Thieltges of Ida Grove, John Miller of Arthur, and Nick Thies, P.A. Konrady, and Paul J Gronemeyer. Albert was born on the farm near Odebolt Sept. 29, 1905, and at his death had reached the age of 30 years and 16 days. He had been afflicted with poor health for several years past. He is survived by his father, one sister, Mary, at home; and four brothers, Jacob of Hartley, Peter of Carroll, John of Arthur and Nicholas at home. His mother, one sister, Anna and one brother, Joseph, preceded him in death. Those from away who came for the funeral were the brothers, Jake of Hartley, and Peter and wife of Carroll, and William, Nick and Mary Thieltges of Ida Grove.
