Boyd Fisher, Jr., 63, of Pittsburgh, Pa., a former resident of Point of Rocks. Mr. Fisher died early this morning at the West Penn Hospital in Pittsburgh. He had been in declining health for the past three months and returned to Pittsburgh just 10 days ago after being a patient at the Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. Born and reared in Point of Rocks, he was the son of the late Albert B. and Laura Willard Fisher. He was graduated from the old Boys High School in this city, and from the engineering college of the University of Maryland in 1926. After college, Mr. Fisher moved to Pittsburgh, where he became associated with the Koppers Company, a coal and coke manufacturing company. At the time of his retirement several years ago, he was vice-president and chief engineer of the company. Since his retirement, Mr. Fisher had been employed with the Jacobs Engineering Firm as a consultant engineer. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ruth MacDonald Fisher; one son, A. Boyd Fisher, 3rd; two granddaughters, and several cousins in this area.
