Survivors are his wife: two daughters, Carol Carnahan of Littleton, Colo., and Sheryl Sommer of Omaha; one son, Kevin of McCook; three sisters, Caroline Plambeck of Holstein, Elvera Leopold of Wray, Colo. and Neola Kuehn of Lincoln; one brother, Wilferd of Hastings; and six grandchildren.
