Mr. VanEnter was born December 8, 1903, at Marion, South Dakota to John and Effie VanEnter. He was married to Louise Dykstra, December 15, 1927, at Sheldon. He has farmed in this community since 1940 and was a member of the First Reformed Church and of the church board. He was also a school board member. Survivors include his widow, Louise; a son Norman of Sioux City; a daughter Phyllis, Mrs. Don Nielsen of Everly; six grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs, Carl Deckert of Artesian, South Dakota and Mrs. Charles Cehl of Sault Saint Marie, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers. Warner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
