Albert married Cora "Bee" (Lord), they had three children. Their son Harry Allen Lance died, November 23, 2003, Find A Grave Memorial# 129372069. Albert and Bee enjoyed hunting, deer/pheasant/quail. Albert enjoyed woodworking. The family enjoyed riding the Harley and the Cushman scooter, camping/fishing/boating/swimming. On June 17, 1944 Albert was inducted into military service [Army] at Ft. Leavenworth, Fort Leavenworth County, Kansas, USA. His six weeks of Boot Camp was at Ft. Knox, Hardin County, Kentucky, USA, and was then shipped out to Germany. His brother Lawrence was also inducted the same day. They were both shipped overseas to Germany after boot camp. His brother died of a gunshot wound four weeks after their arrival. Albert received an Honorable Discharge on November 10, 1945. Albert was a self-employed Plaster, like his father, and his father, and his father before him. Throughout their marriage Bee was Albert's Office Manager/Bookkeeper from 1938 thru 1977. Albert was preceded in death by his parents and eight siblings. Survivors included Bee, three children, eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. His first born grandchild Robert Gene Miller, died June 8, 2013, see Find A Grave Memorial# 129296900
