Description	:	Funeral Services Here Today For Albert Krueger Services will be held at 3:00 o'clock this afternoon (Thursday) for Albert Harry Krueger, 65 year old Hancock farmer. Mr. Krueger died Monday of a heart attack at his farm home. The Walnut rescue unit was called but was unable to help him. Rev. Fred E. Fieker of the Peace United Church of Christ will conduct the services from the Berthusen Funeral Home. Music will be furnished by Mrs. Keith McMartin and Mrs. Paul Guyer with Mrs. Henry Beatty as organist. Albert Harry Krueger was born in Minden, Iowa on Feb. 2, 1900, the son of Walter Krueger, Sr. and Alwine Grobe Krueger. He attended grade school at Mt. Vernum, District No. 4, Lincoln Township, Pottawattamie County. He was confirmed in the Lutheran church at Walnut in 1916. On Dec. 11, 1919 he was united in marriage to Mabel Linkletter, and they became the parents of a son, George Walter. The Kruegers were farmers until 1945 when they moved to Hancock for 6 years where Mr. Krueger operated a harness, shoe and canvas shop and did some light trucking. In 1951 they moved back to the farm and have continued to make their home on the farm but had rented out the farm land since 1960. He was preceded in death by his parents and three brothers, Walter, Arthur and Henry. (Walnut Bureau, Thursday, June 3, 1965)
