Mr. Hennesey and his team of three horses lay stretched upon the ground. A son of Mr. Hennesey and two neighbors, John Jacobs and Reuben Hoyt rushed to the place. They found both the man and the horses stone dead. The current seemed to have struck the horses first and then followed the reins to the body of Mr. Hennesey... He leaves a wife, the faithful sharer of his joys and sorrows of the past, and a family of five children the eldest being 12 and the youngest about three years.
