Albert Louis Virchaux, a highly respected resident of Yountville for the past twenty-seven years, passed away at the family residence in that town Sunday afternoon. Deceased had been ill for several months past, and though he had taken treatment in the best of San Francisco hospitals, he sank slowly until the end came as noted above. Read More	The Napa Daily Register; October 18, 1920: ILLNESS FATAL Albert L. Virchaux, Esteemed Resident of Yountville, Passed Away Sunday Afternoon—Had Long Been Sick. Albert Louis Virchaux, a highly respected resident of Yountville for the past twenty-seven years, passed away at the family residence in that town Sunday afternoon. Deceased had been ill for several months past, and though he had taken treatment in the best of San Francisco hospitals, he sank slowly until the end came as noted above. He was 69 years of age, having been born in Switzerland during the year 1861. Deceased had for the past twenty-three years been an efficient employee of the Southern Pacific Company at Yountville, and was a member of the Order of Railroad Employees and Napa Lodge No. 516, Loyal Order of Moose. Besides a widow, Rose, there are left the following children to mourn his loss: Mrs. Verne Casady, a daughter, and Fred and George, sons, of Yountville; Alide, a son, of Oakland, and Mrs. Alberta Huyck, a daughter of Napa, and Vivian Virchaux, of Oakland. The funeral will be held from the D. C. Treadway chapel in Napa at 1:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon under the auspices of the local order of Moose. Interment will be made in the family plot at Yountville.
