Description	:	Albert Paul Sands was born May 5, 1914, in Grant Township near Anthon, Iowa, the son of John and Anna (Beyer) Sands. He married Frieda Pauline Strackbein June 6, 1940, at Battle Creek, Iowa. She died March 20, 1986. He farmed in the Anthon, Climbing Hill, and Oto, Iowa areas. He also did carpentry work. Mr. Sands died September 25, 1999, at Correctionville, Iowa. Services were held at the Oto United Church of Christ with Rev. Karen Handke officiating. He was preceded in death by an infant daughter, Irene Pauline; a sister, Annie; and three brothers: one in infancy, Rudolph, and John "Oscar".
