Description	:	ALBIN ANDERSON Albin W. Anderson was born on March 4, 1908 to C. V. and Almina Anderson in Bloomfield, Nebraska. He was baptized and confirmed at Thabor Lutheran Church, Wausa, Nebraska. He attended rural schools north of Wausa, Nebraska, and farmed with his father for a time before starting his own painting and wallpapering business in Wausa, Nebraska. Albin and Rachel Skalberg were married at Thabor on May 8, 1940. He was baptized and confirmed at Thabor Lutheran Church, Wausa, Nebraska. He attended rural schools north of Wausa, Nebraska, and farmed with his father for a time before starting his own painting and wallpapering business in Wausa, Nebraska. Albin and Rachel Skalberg were married at Thabor on May 8, 1940. Four children were born to this union, Bruce, Omaha, Nebraska, Charlotte (Bain), Belleville, Illinois; Milo, Fremont, Nebraska; Melaine (Ciecior), Omaha, Nebraska. After his marriage, he farmed near Wausa for several years. In 1949, he purchased 80 acres south of town and lived there until moving into town in 1980. He also worked as a custodian at the Wausa Public Schools for 17 years. Albin was very active in Thabor Lutheran Church serving several terms on the church council. He sang in the choir for 50 years. He is survived by his wife, Rachel, four children, nine grandchildren, three sisters and four brothers. He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Signe, and one brother, Carl.
