Description	:	--possibly unmarked Alcinda Marin Streight was born in Fairmount, West Va., March 19, 1831, and died at Morganville, Kansas, July 7, 1911, age 80 years, 3 months and 18 days. She grew into womanhood in her native state, and in 1859 was married to Samuel B. Kelly at Paxton, Illinois. The young couple went to the state of New York where they lived until 1882, when they moved to Kansas whence the remaining years of their lives were spent. Mr. Kelly died in the year 1900. Mrs. Kelly was the mother of six children, two of whom died in infancy in New York, and a son, Frank, died in 1883 at Holton Kansas, at the age of twenty years. Those living are Charles J. Kelly of Jersey City, N.J., EdwardS. Kelly of Morganville, Kansas, and Mrs. Alfred Eubanks of Port Orchard, Wash. Besides her children she leaves four sisters and two brothers to mourn her loss, Mrs. A. Bumgardner, of this city being a sister. Mrs. Kelly, while a girl in West Va., some seventy years ago united with the Methodist Episcopal church .... The remains were brought to Morganville to this city on Monday, July 10, for burial being accompanied by Mr. and Mrs. E. S. Kelly and son, Frank .... Mrs. B. F. Shumate, of Topeka, Kansas, Mrs. Alfred Eubanks of Port Orchard, Wash., and Mrs. G. W. Parrott, of Soldier, Kansas, were here to attend the funeral. The remains were laid at rest besides those of husband and son in the Holton cemetery. The Holton Recorder, July 13, 1911.
