The four involved include Tebbo H., and Harm H. Knock, and Anna and Lena Reiners. The brothers, incidentally, were sons of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Knock and the sisters, daughters of Mr. and Mrs. John Reiners. Mr. and Mrs. Tebbo H. Knock were married in Lennox, September 17, 1884. Mr. Knock—with other members of his family—came to Dakota Territory and Lennox in 1879, by means of covered wagon. The train car bearing his father's belongings was the first emigrant car to this community. He was born in Freeport, IL, in 1861 and his parents remained in Olge county a few years before moving to Grundy county, IA., and subsequently this vicinity. Mrs. Knock, nee Lena Reiners, was born at Ackley, la., in 1867, and spent her early years in Grundy County, until the family moved to Lennox in 1881. Her parents had previously settled in Iowa in 1862 upon emigrating from Germany. Following their marriage Mr. and Mrs. Tebbo Knock assumed farming responsibilities on their farm two miles south of Lennox. Here they have since continually made their home. Their children include: John of Ellis, Henry of Davis, Tebbo, Sadie (Elcock), Mrs. M. Meyers, Grace, Tillie, Anna, and Dick of Lennox, Lena (Symens) of Ashby, Minn., and Tena (Meyers) of New Haven, ND.
