Henry H., John H., Tebbo H., Grace H., Tillie, Dick H. and Anna H. were born to this union. Annie attained the age of 85 years and 17 days. The following is from the Lennox Diamond Jubilee Book. Among the well-known local couples married more than half a century, are Mr. and Mrs. Harm H. Knock. They were among the early pioneer residents of this community, the two having been in this vicinity for approximately six decades. Mr. and Mrs. Knock were married June 2, 1886, here, and for seven years lived in a one-room structure 3 1/2 miles south of Lennox. In 1893 they moved to the place which they now occupy. Mr. Knock was born August 8, 1863, near Freeport, IL. and a few years later his parents took up their residence in Grundy county, IA. Here they remained until 1879 when they entered Dakota Territory and settled in the Lennox vicinity, farming two miles south of here. Mr. Knock's parents (Mr. And Mrs. Henry Knock) shipped their household goods on the first emigrant car following completion of the Milwaukee railroad to this point. Mrs. Knock (nee Anna Reiners) was born in Grundy County, Iowa, September 2, 1863. In 1882 the family came to Dakota Territory, and resumed farming southwest of Lennox. The eight children of this couple are as follows: Henry T., John H., Tebbo H., Mrs. Ehme Brass, and Mrs. Michael Klinghagen all of the Lennox vicinity, Herman, Dick and Anna at home with their parents.
