Description	:	Aletha M. Teply, 87, of St. Paul, formerly of Wolbach, died Sunday, Aug. 8, 2010, at the Greeley Care Home in Greeley. Aletha was born Nov. 29, 1922, in Fullerton to Harvey and Bertha (Adams) Allard. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Teply, on Nov. 2, 1991, and a daughter, Roberta Teply. Survivors are: son and daughter-in-law, Robert J. and Tess Teply of Lincoln; daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Wade Bennett of Archer; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and a host of friends and relatives. Teply, 87, of St. Paul, formerly of Wolbach, died Sunday, Aug. 8, 2010, at the Greeley Care Home in Greeley. Aletha was born Nov. 29, 1922, in Fullerton to Harvey and Bertha (Adams) Allard. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Teply, on Nov. 2, 1991, and a daughter, Roberta Teply. Survivors are: son and daughter-in-law, Robert J. and Tess Teply of Lincoln; daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Wade Bennett of Archer; seven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren and a host of friends and relatives. She attended Fullerton and Greeley High School and graduated in 1940. After graduation, she attended University of Nebraska at Kearney and taught at Reed Rural School near Greeley and at Wolbach schools in 1945 and1946. Aletha was united in marriage to Robert Edward Teply on Aug. 30, 1946, at Primrose. Aletha and Robert first made their home and farmed in Boone County for three years. Aletha worked as a homemaker and Robert farmed in Greeley County and raised stock cattle. In 1956, the couple moved to their farm, where they spent the rest of their married life. Aletha enjoyed gardening, canning, sewing and crafts. She also loved playing the piano and music. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Wolbach, the United Methodist Women and circles and St. Paul United Methodist church circles. She also taught Sunday school and Bible school. She was also preceded in death by her parents, sister, Lucille Klein, and brothers, Charles and Glenn Allard. Published in The Grand Island Independent on 8/10/2010
