Description	:	Funeral services for Alex F. Luft of 1143 Delmar will be conducted 10 a.m., Tuesday from the First English Lutheran Church, Pastor John Gorklo officiating. Burial will follow in Riverside cemetery. Mr. Luft died Saturday in Brighton. He was born June 12, 1911 is Con stantinowka, Russia, the son of Frederick and Amalia Helmuth Luft and moved to Canada with his parents, then to Sterling in 1912 where the family farmed south of Sterling. He married Dollie Stertz, Nov. 27, 1932 in Sterling and the couple con tinued to farm south of Sterling, moving to a farm northwest of Sterl ing in 1940. Mr. Luft worked for the George Henderson Co., for 18 years from 1961 to 1979 when he retired from farming. He was member of the First English Lutheran Church, serving in numerous offices for many years. Mr. Luft is survived by his widow, Mrs. Doffle Luft; a son, Albert E. Luft, both of Sterling; two daughters, Mrs. Gloria Darlene Rock of Brighton and Mrs. Norma McCarty of Van, Texas; a brother, Harry Luft of Sterling; a sister, Mrs. Mildred Lebeda of Greeley and nine grand children. Chaney-Walters Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
