Read More	Dies at Age of Seventy Years Complication of Diseases Causes the Death of Aleak Lee at His Home on Fifth Avenue in This City Aleak Lee, for many years a resident of Montgomery county and a resident of Villisca since the year 1909, died Wednesday evening at 6:30 o’clock at his home on Fifth avenue, his death resulting from a complication of diseases after illness of several months. Mr. Lee was born in Haugesund, Norway, on Sept 29, 1850, and came to America on July 11, 1869, stopping at Cedar Rapids, Iowa, from where he went to Chicago the same year. Two years later he came to Adams county. He was married to Sarah Anderson on June 7, 1873, and they lived on a farm near Grant until 1909, when they moved to Villisca. To this union were born twelve children, nine of whom with the wife survive. The children are Mrs. P.P. Johnson and Mrs. C.A. Danielson who live north of Villisca, Mrs. J.S. Larson of Grand, Alexander of Billings, Mont., Carl of Morill, Neb., Mary, Jennie, Oscar and Albert of Villisca. The children who preceded their father in death are Mrs. Theodore Johnson and two other daughters who dies in infancy. The funeral will be held this Friday afternoon at 2 o’clock at the home on Fifth avenue with Elder S.H. Coleman in charge of the service. Burial will be in the Villisca cemetery. The son Carl arrived Tuesday evening from his home at Morrill, Neb., and Alexander of Billings, Mont., arrived home Wednesday morning, being called on account of the sickness of their father, and both were at his bedside at the time of his death. -The Villisca Review, 16 Apr 1920 Contributor: Darin Lee (49746384)
