Burial will follow in Riverside cemetery. Mr. Miller, a chef and restaurant proprietor in Sterling for 44 years, died Wednesday in a Sterling hospital. He was born Oct. 24, 1904, in Europe, the son of John and Elizabeth Wamboldt Miller Sr. He came to the United States in 1912, settling in Sterling. He was born Oct. 24, 1904, in Europe, the son of John and Elizabeth Wamboldt Miller Sr. He came to the United States in 1912, settling in Sterling. He married Minnie Bettger, Aug.14, 1928 in Sterling.He was operator of the White House Cafe in the 100 block of N. Front St., for 14 years (1929-1943) and worked as a chef for 44 years before retiring in 1968. Mr. Miller was a member of the First United Presbyterian Church. He is sruvived by his widow, Mrs. Minnie Miller of Sterling; a daughter, Mrs. Joanne (Edwin) Miller of Sterling; three sisters, Mrs. Elizabeth Weber and Mrs. Mollie Keller, both of Sterling and Mrs. Esther Schad of Denver; five brothers, John Miller and David Miller, both of Sterling, George Miller of El Cerrito. Calif., Henry Miller of Portland, Ore., and Arthur Miller of Denver and two grandchildren, Diane Miller of Pueblo and Gene Miller of Sterling.Walters-Chaney Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
