| Description | : | On Wednesday, April 22nd, there passed suddenly away one of the pioneers of Bosanquet Township, in the person of Mr. Alexander Porter of the 12th concession. Mr. Porter was born at Castlederge, Tyrone County, Ireland in the year 1822. In 1847 he came to Canada and lived for a short time in Halton County and from there returned to Ireland to visit his birthplace.
