Description	:	Alice B. Busch of Lewiston, 71, a retired physical therapist, died Tuesday of respiratory failure at the home of her sister, Dorothy Holland of Clarkston. Miss Busch had been in failing health for several months. She operated a physical therapy clinic at Vallejo, Calif., until she retired in 1970. After retirement, she lived at Lake Tahoe, Nev., Chehalis, Wash., and Ocean Shores, before moving to Lewiston in 1984. She was born Oct. 16, 1914, at Uniontown to Peter W. and Julia Busch. She attended schools there, graduating from Uniontown High School in 1932. She graduated from Washington State University at Pullman in 1938. Miss Busch taught physical education at West Valley High School at Spokane from 1938 to 1942 and then was a student at Walter Reed Hospital at Washington D.C., for a year to earn her certificate as a physical therapist. She joined the U.S. Army in 1943 and worked as a physical therapist in England until 1945, achieving the rank of first Lieutenant. Then she was a physical therapist at Walter Reed Hospital for a year before moving to Vallejo, Calif. She worked at Kaiser Hospital at Vallejo before opening her own clinic. Survivors in addition to her sister at Clarkston are five brothers, Norbert of Pullman, William of Seattle and Richard, Thomas and Harold (Bob), all of Spokane. Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. Sunday at St. Boniface Catholic Church at Uniontown. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at the church, with the Rev. Clifford Hulings officiating. Burial will be at St. Boniface Cemetery. The family suggest memorials to the Family Hospice, P.O. Box 816, Lewiston, 83501. Vassar-Rawls Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements
