Webster Alice Elizabeth Webster, the daughter of George A. and Mary Walker, was born at Selma, Iowa, March 24th, 1879, died at the home of her son in Chicago, Illinois, November 10, 1935, age 56 years, 7 months and 16 days. She was united in marriage to Pearl M. Webster, October 10, 1902, to this union were born four children, of whom three are living: Mrs. Claude Hull, of Douds, Iowa; Mrs. John Siemon, of Alma, Colorado; one son, Elmer and wife of Chicago, Ill.; and four grandchildren.... She was united in marriage to Pearl M. One daughter, Freda died in infancy. Also surviving are four brothers, Ernest Walker, of Astoria, Oregon; Welbourne, of Wenatchee, Washington; Elmer, of New Sharon, Iowa; and Zack, of Oelwein, Iowa. She has lived in Van Buren county the greater part of her life and the last number of years in Douds, where her part in the various community activities is well-known by her many friends and acquaintances. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon in the Douds Methodist church in charge of the Rev. Charles Orcutt. Burial was in the Mt. Moriah cemetery. Source: Van Buren Co.
