Mrs. King had lived in Montgomery County 71 years. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tomorrow, Friday, from the Perryman Chapel, with Rev. W. J. Weber, Methodist circuit minister, in charge. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery in West township, but other funeral arrangements had not been completed at the time of going to press. Alice Harbaugh was born at Roseville, Illinois, October 22, 1860, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Peter (Sarah Whitford) Harbaugh, and came to Red Oak with her parents in 1871, attending school here and making her home in this vicinity continuously, until the time of her death. She was married at Red Oak on her birthday anniversary in 1878, to William J. King, who died here May 2, 1926. Mrs. King was the last member of her immediate family of 10 brothers and sisters. She was a member of the Hawthorne Methodist Church. Surviving are three sons, two daughters, 10 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren. To sons and daughters are Mrs. Alma Whipple, Clifford King, Frank King, Miss Elsie King, and Stanley King, of of Red Oak. A son Lloyd died at the age of four years in 1889. She was buried April 10, 1942 in the Salem Cemetery, R. H. Perryman, undertaker. She married William John King. Children: Alma, Clifford, Frank, Lloyd, Elsie, and Stanley.
