Read More	YOUNG MATRON DIED IN LOCAL HOSPITAL Injuries Received In Accident May 20 Prove Fatal BURIED SUNDAY IN ASBURY CEMETERY Mrs. Alice Lucine Ruark, of Lawsonia, wife of Ralph Ruark, passed away on Thursday last at the McCready Memorial Hospital. Death was due to injuries suffered in an automobile accident which occurred on the State Highway near Marion on May 20. Besides other severe injuries received in the accident, Mrs. Ruark was suffering from a fractured skull. The deceased was twenty-six years of age and the daughter of Charles Sterling and Elsie Cook Sterling of Lawsonia. Her death came as a shock to her large number of friends who were sincerely grieved when the news reached them. Besides her parents and her husband she is survived by two sons, Kenneth Ruark, age 11 years and Sterling Ruark, age 6 years. Two brothers, Millard Sterling and Wayne Sterling, of Baltimore and three aunts, Mrs. Etta Bradshaw, Mrs. Edith Mason and Miss Alta Sterling all of whom reside in Lawsonia, also survive. Funeral services were held from the home of her aunt, Mrs. Edith Mason, in Lawsonia, on Sunday afternoon at 2.00 o'clock with the Rev. J. T. Rowlenson, pastor of the Asbury M. E. Church, officiating. Rev. Rowlenson was assisted by the Rev. H. D. Dukes, pastor of the Pilgrim Holiness Church. The large attendance at the funeral and the many floral pieces was evidence of the high esteem in which she was held and of the deep sympathy for her many friends and relatives. Pall-bearers at the funeral were Leon Sterling, Walter Ward, Charles Mosher, Chester Nelson, William Sterling, Robert Bradshaw. Interment was in the family plot in the Asbury cemetery.
