Hall passed away peacefully January 11, 2010 at the age of 83 from Alzheimer's disease. She was born to Leonard and Eleanor Towle in Cove, OR March 14, 1926. When she was 10 years old she moved to Battle Ground with her family. A 1944 graduate from Battle Ground High School Alice worked as head bank teller at Seattle First National Bank in Vancouver. When she was 10 years old she moved to Battle Ground with her family. A 1944 graduate from Battle Ground High School Alice worked as head bank teller at Seattle First National Bank in Vancouver. In 1955 she married William Hall who co-owned Hall's Pharmacy. Alice enjoyed sewing, crafts and attending concerts. She also took pleasure in cooking and entertaining. After retirement, she and Bill enjoyed their travels together. Her greatest joy was being a grandmother. Alice was a long standing member of the Lady Skippers' Auxiliary to Fort Vancouver Sail and Power Squadron. She presided as Lady Skipper from 1992-94. Alice attended First United Methodist Church her adult life. Alice was a direct descendent of the Reverend Lewis Hubbell Judson. Judson was recruited by Jason Lee in 1839 to be part of the "Great Reinforcement" to the Oregon Methodist Mission at Salem, Oregon. Alice is survived by her children, Don Hall (Margaret Johnston) of Jacksonville, FL and Karla Frodsham (Lance) of Vancouver,WA; and grandchildren, Lael Johnston of Jacksonville, FL and William Hall of Jacksonville,FL and Emily, Allison and Laurel Frodsham of Vancouver, WA. Alice's husband, Bill, preceded her in death in 2006. Alice's family would like to extend their deepest appreciation to the Cottage staff at Highgate Senior Living. Since 2006 through her final moments they provided Alice with love, respect and dignity. They were her second family. A memorial service will take place at Mill Plain United Methodist Church, 15804 SE Mill Plain Blvd. ,Vancouver, WA on Friday, Jan. 22 at 1:30 p.m. Donations may be made, in Alice's name to the Alzheimer's Association, Washington DC, 20090-6011.
