She was born Dec. 19, 1915, at Toledo, the daughter of Louis Sanford Arford and Hazel Vera Cooper. She had been a resident of Tipton since 1930 and graduated from Tipton high school in 1933. Feb. 26, 1935, she married Kenneth McClellan at Tipton. She was a member of First United Methodist church, Tipton, the W.S.C.S., Helping Hand, Rebekah Lodge #517, Past Noble Grand and the Ida Mansfield Circle of King's Daughters. survivors include her husband, Kenneth, Tipton; 3 daughters, Mrs. Henry (Kathleen) Lewis, Tipton; Mrs. Marlo (Martha) Introna, Brooklyn, N. Y. ; and Mrs. Douglas (Shirley) Smith, Marion; a son, Keith McClellan, Chicago, Ill.; her mother, Mrs. Frank Fuller; 8 grandchildren; a half-sister, Mrs. Albert (Phyllis) Conway, Cedar Rapids; a half brother, Wesley Marquett, Tipton; 3 step-sisters, Mrs. Irvin (Vera) Metz, Milwaukee, Wis.; Mrs. Raymond (Helen) Kortum, Grand Junction, Colo., and Mrs. Raymond (Doris) Kroemer, Massillon; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and a half-brother.
