Allan Edwin Edward Vieselmeyer, son of Reinhold and Emma Werner Vieselmeyer, was born July 9, 1912 in Nuckolls County, Nebraska. He was baptized July 21, 1912 and confirmed May 29, 1927 at St. Mark's Lutheran church in Ruskin, Nebraska. He moved to the Amherst community in October of 1936 where he lived and was engaged in farming until his death. On May 18, 1939, he was married to Lucia E. Krueger at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Amherst. To this union were born two sons, Dale and Verdis of Amherst. On May 18, 1974 they celebrated their 35th wedding anniversay with an open house at the Amherst Community hall. Allan was an active member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church and a dedicated Christian who loved the work of the Lord. He was preceded in death by his parents. Surviving him are his wife, Lucia; two sons and their wives, Dale and Ardie, Verdis and Pam; four grandchildren, Brent, Charla, Erik and Elisa; four brothers, Harlin of Overland Park, Kansas, Erwin of Deshler, Nebraska, Marwin of Davenport, Nebraska, Orval of Emira, New York; two sisters, Mrs. Tony (Lillian) Cacuzzo of El Paso, Texas and Mrs. Everett (Evalin) Lillick of Superior, Nebraska; and many other relatives and friends. Out of town relatives and friends attending the service were Mr. and Mrs. Harlin Vieselmeyer, Mr. and Mrs. Erwin Vieselmeyer, Mr. and Mrs. Marwin Vieselmeyer, Mrs. Tony Cacuzzo, Mr. and Mrs. Everett Lillick, Rev. and Mrs. Dean Vieselmeyer of Minnesota; Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Schardt and children of Ogallala, Nebraska; Mr. Alvin Vieselmeyer of Gothenburg, Nebraska, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Vieselmeyer of Deshler, Nebraska; Mr. and Mrs. Fred Mundt of Geneva, Nebraska, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Wegener, of Hebron, Nebraska, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Nierman of Grand Junction, Mrs. Don Peterson of Denver, Mrs. and Mrs. Dan Krueger and daughters of Arvada, Mrs. Hugo Krueger of Bluehill, Nebraska, Mrs. Al Beder of Lincoln, Nebraska, Mrs. Harold Koepke of Bluehill, Nebraska; Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Brase of Orange, California, Mr. and Mrs. Avon Larson of Brule, Nebraska, Mrs. and Mrs. W.C. Conover of Grant, Nebraska, Mrs. Jack French of Fort Collins, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Naggatz of Sterling, Donald L. Peterson of Fort Collins, Gerald L.
