Allen is survived by: his wife of 24 years, LaVaughn Thiessen of Hutchinson; daughters, Kristine Seck (Richard) of Hutchinson, Keri Thiessen of Dyer, IN, and Jenifer Wolff (Brett); granddaughter, Sophie Ana Wolff, all of Oswego, IL; stepsons, Steve Theede (Kay) of Houston, TX, Roger Theede (Cathy) of Nickerson, and Mitch Theede (Jay) of Columbia, MO; and numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by: his parents; son, Timothy Ray Thiessen; and a brother, Edward Thiessen. Graveside service will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 29, 2021, at Hebron Cemetery, rural Buhler, with the Reverend Michael Tomson-DeGreeff officiating. Friends may call from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday, with the family present from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Elliott Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Hospice and HomeCare of Reno County or Trinity United Methodist Church, in care of Elliott Mortuary, 1219 N. Main, Hutchinson, KS 67501
