Description	:	Allen Edward Huber was born December 9, 1936 to Edward and Amalia Huber in Bon Homme County. He grew up and lived on the family farm near Clayton until 1993 when they moved to Marion, SD. Allen attended the Freeman School until the 9th grade where he was then needed to work full time on the family farm. In 1957 he joined the Army and did a tour in Germany. Read More	Allen Edward Huber was born December 9, 1936 to Edward and Amalia Huber in Bon Homme County. He grew up and lived on the family farm near Clayton until 1993 when they moved to Marion, SD. Allen attended the Freeman School until the 9th grade where he was then needed to work full time on the family farm. In 1957 he joined the Army and did a tour in Germany. On January 28, 1961 he married Anna Margaret Rechtenbaugh at the United Methodist Church in Canistota, SD. She joined him working on the family farm in Clayton until 1983. The following year they started trucking as a team and purchased their own truck in 1987. They trucked for 19 years, during which he earned his million mile club membership twice. He also enjoyed going hunting and fishing with his wife and children. During get togethers, there were many late nights playing pinnacle with his kids and wife. He loved passing on his wisdom and experiences through the years. He cherished his family and watching them grow up. Allen was a lifelong member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Clayton. Being a truck driver and on the road most of the time, he attended services as often as he could. Even when they were not able to attend much, his faith never wavered. Allen is survived by: his wife, Anna of Marion; his sister, Mildred Corey of Sioux Falls; his children, Anna (Gene) Crisman of Sioux Falls, Allen (Sherlyn) Huber of Casselton, ND, Dan (Lori) Huber of Huron and Tim (Nineth) Huber of Sioux Falls; 16 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents, parents-in-law, 3 sisters, and brothers-in-law.
