Myers, 35, a life resident of Scott county, died at 4:45 a.m. Sunday in his home, a half mile east of Blue Grass, after a three weeks illness. Born Sept. 18, 1905, in Buffalo township, he was educated in rural schools and married Hilda Brumm, Oct. 5, 1937, in Davenport. The couple had farmed near Blue Grass since their marriage. The body was returned Sunday afternoon from the Runge Mortuary to the home where it will remain until Tuesday noon when it will be removed to the Blue Grass church for services at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Blue Grass Cemetery.
