Survivors are the widow, the former Lola Jones of near Brookville; one daughter, Mrs. Herman Highfield of Connersville; one son, allen L. Sykes, Jr. of Connersville; one brother, Norman Sykes of Cleveland, and four grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Sykes were held at the Myers Funeral Home, Connersville, with burial in Maple Grove Cemetery, Brookville.
