Description	:	Allen O. Mueller, 91, of rural Arlington died Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2010, at Hooper Care Center. He was born July 11, 1919, to Herbert and Lena (Bartling) Mueller. He graduated from Immanuel Lutheran grade school and Hartung School, then attended Lincoln Aeronautic School. He worked at the Martin Bomber plant then served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II. He was born July 11, 1919, to Herbert and Lena (Bartling) Mueller. He graduated from Immanuel Lutheran grade school and Hartung School, then attended Lincoln Aeronautic School. He worked at the Martin Bomber plant then served in the U.S. Army Air Corps in World War II. She preceded him in death on Nov. 3, 1970. He then married Lorene Struening on March 18, 1972. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, east of Winslow. He also was a member of the Lutheran Laymen's League, Farm Bureau, American Shorthorn Association, American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars, and had been a 4-H leader and served as trustee and held various offices at Immanuel. Survivors include: his wife, Lorene of Hooper; daughters, Barbara (and husband, Steve) Nast of Lincoln, Virginia (and husband, Allan) McDuffee of Glendale, Ariz., and Deborah (and husband, Steve) Pawling of Scribner; brothers, Willis (and wife, Verda) Mueller of North Bend and Orlando (and wife, Lois) Mueller of rural Hooper; sisters-in-law, Mildred Bartling of Hastings, Edna Panning and Alice Bartling, both of Fremont; brothers-in-law, Elmer (and wife, Sue) Struening of New York and LeRoy (and wife, Joyce) Fischer of Fremont; eight grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The funeral will be 2 p.m. Friday at Immanuel Lutheran Church, east of Winslow, with the Rev. Mark Weber officiating. Visitation will be from 3-8 p.m. today at Ludvigsen's Hooper Funeral Chapel with family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Burial with military honors will be in Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery.
