Description	:	Allen “Royce” Shuler, 85, of Warden, WA passed away April 30,2019 at home surrounded by his family. Royce was born in Spokane, WA on June 3, 1933 to Allen Alfred Shuler and Thelma (Wilsey) Shuler. He was raised in Ritzville and graduated from WSU in 1958 with a degree in Animal Science. He married the love of his life, Ilene Damon, September 2, 1956. They moved to Warden in 1960 and started farming and ranching on their own and raising their family. Royce was born in Spokane, WA on June 3, 1933 to Allen Alfred Shuler and Thelma (Wilsey) Shuler. He was raised in Ritzville and graduated from WSU in 1958 with a degree in Animal Science. He married the love of his life, Ilene Damon, September 2, 1956. They moved to Warden in 1960 and started farming and ranching on their own and raising their family. He is survived by his wife, Ilene, five children and their families, Rob (JoAnn) Shuler of Warden, Daniel (Cathy) Shuler of Spokane, Shawn (Kristine) Shuler of Warden, Jennifer (Chris) Newhouse of Warden, and Mary (Curtis) Wilkinson of Warden. He had 14 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. In his early farming years, he was heavily involved with the Farm Bureau and its leadership. He was a Boy Scout leader when his boys were involved, and he followed all his kids to their sporting events throughout the years. Royce was an active member of the Warden Community Church and its choir for many years. After retirement, he loved to garden and was an avid Mariners fan. Most important and dear to his heart, was his family. He loved family gatherings with all the kids and grandkids. He passed on to all of them his faith, a strong work ethic, encouragement and love. A funeral service will be held May 7, 2019 at the Warden Community Church, 01 W 3rd St, Warden, WA 98857 with graveside to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Warden. ref: Kayser's Chapel
