Her father died when [line of text missing] She moved to Churdan and moved in the house of the late Mrs. Della Fay, which they had built. She attended school here and also Iowa State Teachers college in Cedar Falls. She taught school for a number of years in Glidden and Jefferson, and taught in the Webster City elementary schools from 1925 to 1956, when she retired. She was married to Henry Roelofsz, who was county superintendent of schools in Greene county. He died several years ago. She made her home with her brother Judson Wilson at 211 N. 14th St. in Fort Dodge since she retired. She had been in failing health the past two years and died suddenly at her home Friday, May 23, at the age of 70. Surviving her are two brothers, Judson of Fort Dodge and Henry of Sioux City. Her husband; her parents; two sisters, Carrie and Ermina, and one brother, George, preceded her in death. She was a member of chapter IM, P.E.O. of Fort Dodge, the Webster City chapter of the Eastern Star and the First Methodist church of Webster City. Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 1:30 in Bruce's Memorial chapel. The Rev. L.D. Havighurst, pastor of the First Methodist church in Fort Dodge officiated. Burial was in the Highland cemetery at Churdan beside her parents. Mrs. Roelofsz was a distant cousin of Floyd Hunter of Churdan.
