Description	:	UNION - Alma Ivey Vinson, 88, of Magnolia Manor in Spartanburg, died March 16, 1998, in Spartanburg Regional Medical Center after an extended illness. A native of Spartanburg County, she was the widow of Marion Curtis Vinson and daughter of the late Sumpter and Rosa Griffin Ivey. She was a member of Gilead Baptist Church of Jonesville. Survivors include two daughters, Myrtle Williams of Union and Lucille Sizemore of Chesnee; one son, Clyde Vinson of Jonesville; four sisters, Florence Ivey and Leona Ivey of Spartanburg, Corrine Rogers of Pacolet and Edith Cantrell of Fingerville; one brother, Ernest Ivey of Spartanburg;... The family is at the home of her son, Clyde Vinson, 216 Parks Farm Road, Jonesville, and will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight at Holcombe Funeral Home's Jonesville chapel. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Gilead Baptist Church, conducted by the Revs. Terry Candler, Joseph Stover and Bill Lark. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 10 a.m. Wednesday. Memorials may be made to the building fund or the kitchen fund of Gilead Baptist Church, 748 Gaffney Highway, Jonesville, 29353.
