Description	:	UNION, SC Mrs. Myrtle Vinson Williams, age 75, wife of Herbert Leon Williams of 320 Vernon Foster Rd., Union, SC, went home to be with the Lord Friday, January 8, 2010. Mrs. Williams was born in Jonesville, SC November 12, 1934, a daughter of the late Curtis Vinson and Alma Ivey Vinson. She was a graduate of Jonesville High School. Mrs. Williams was an active member of Gilead Baptist Church where she was a member of the Senior Ladies Sunday School Class and the WMU. Read More	UNION, SC Mrs. Myrtle Vinson Williams, age 75, wife of Herbert Leon Williams of 320 Vernon Foster Rd., Union, SC, went home to be with the Lord Friday, January 8, 2010. Mrs. Williams was born in Jonesville, SC November 12, 1934, a daughter of the late Curtis Vinson and Alma Ivey Vinson. She was a graduate of Jonesville High School. Mrs. Williams was an active member of Gilead Baptist Church where she was a member of the Senior Ladies Sunday School Class and the WMU. She taught Bible School, was a Sunday School Teacher, Church Training Leader and Nursery Coordinator for many years. She was a loving and faithful wife, mother and grandmother. Surviving in addition to her husband of fifty years, are three sons, Douglas Williams and companion Karen Watson, Gene Williams and wife Angie and Paul Williams, all of Jonesville; five grandchildren, Regina Williams, Daniel Williams, Dillon Williams, Casey Williams and a special granddaughter, Allyssa Morris; a brother, Clyde Vinson and wife Faye of Jonesville; a sister, Lucille Sizemore of Spartanburg and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 2:30 PM Sunday, January 10, 2010, at Gilead Baptist Church conducted by Dr. Lawton Neely. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Memorials may be made to Gilead Baptist Church Building Fund, PO Box 38, Jonesville, SC 29353. The family is at the home, 320 Vernon Foster Rd., Union.
