Description	:	Alma L. Desch, 70, ot Topeka died Friday, Feb. 16, 1990 at a Topeka hospital after a long illness. She was born April 17, 1919 in Detroit, the daughter of Marshal J. and Marie Page. She was a graduated from Topeka High School and spent most of her life in Topeka. Mrs. Desch was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was a church catechist for many years. She was a graduated from Topeka High School and spent most of her life in Topeka. Mrs. Desch was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and was a church catechist for many years. Survivors include five daughters, Carolyn Desch, Edmonton, Alberta, Margaret A. Lock, Lawrence, Theresa Desch, Denver, and Deanna Hiew and Mary Van Berkel, both of Roseville, Minn.; five sons, Jack L. Desch and Bernard Desch, both of Topeka, Edward J. Desch Jr., Richmond, Va., and Mark L. Desch and David Desch, both of Stillwater, Minn.; a sister, Iva Sherritz, Sacramento, Calif.; a brother, Lee Page, Abilene; 20 grandchildren and a great-grandchild. Mass of the Resurrection will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery. Mrs. Desch will lie in state from 2 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Brennan Funeral Home, where a parish prayer service will be at 7 p.m. Sunday.
