Description	:	Coon Rapids Enterprise April 26, 1940 Myra Wheeler, daughter of Frank and Almira DeBough, was born near Joliet, Illinois, December 31, 1865, and departed this life at the home of her son, Cheater Wheeler, at Los Angeles, Cal., April 16, 1940, at the age of 74 years, 3 months and 16 days. She was united in marriage in 1881 to Fernando Wheeler, of Exira, Iowa. To this union were born 12 children, five of whom died in infancy and of the seven which grew to manhood and womanhood, four preceded her in death: Frank, Myrtle, Harold and Olivene.... She was united in marriage in 1881 to Fernando Wheeler, of Exira, Iowa. To this union were born 12 children, five of whom died in infancy and of the seven which grew to manhood and womanhood, four preceded her in death: Frank, Myrtle, Harold and Olivene. She leaves to mourn her passing two sons, Chester and George, of Los Angeles, Cal.; one daughter, Mrs. Mart Ayers of Bagley, la.; two brothers, Frank DeBough of Bagley, la., and Thomas, of Clarinda, la.; also 19 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and a host of relatives and friends. Mrs. Wheeler confessed her faith in Christ, in early life and was a member of the Church of Christ until her death. She lived the life of a faithful Christian and a kind and loving mother, and she has gone to her reward. Only a few days before her death she made the remark that she was steady to meet her Lord. Funeral services were held in Coon Rapids, Iowa, Sunday, April 21, at 2:30 P. M., under the direction of Rev. M. K. Belanger. Vocal music was furnished by Carolyn Buckley'and Mrs. Jack Russell. Interment was in the local cemetery.
