Description	:	Coon Rapids Enterprise April 7, 1933 Rose DeBough, daughter of Frank and Elmira DeBough was born near Joliet, Illinois, and departed this life March 30, 1933, at her home in Coon Rapids, after an illness of only three days. Read More	Coon Rapids Enterprise April 7, 1933 Rose DeBough, daughter of Frank and Elmira DeBough was born near Joliet, Illinois, and departed this life March 30, 1933, at her home in Coon Rapids, after an illness of only three days. In her early childhood she, with her parents, moved to Boone county, Iowa. Later she moved to Audubon county where she grew to young womanhood. It was then she received her education and training as a teacher, which profession she loved and successfully followed for years, being employed for sometime in the public schools of Coon Rapids. She also taught in Bayard, Garwin and in South Dakota. In 1900, she, with her two sisters and two brothers, moved to Coon Rapids, where she lived until her death. She was united in marriage to J. A. Newcomm in Coon Rapids, October 10, 1909. To this union was born one son, Russell L. Newcomm. There remain to mourn her departure besides her husband and son, two brothers; Frank, of Bagley and Thomas of Clarinda; and two sisters, Mrs. Myra Wheeler of Scranton and Mrs. Floyd Campbell of Coon Rapids. She also leaves a number of other relatives and a host of friends. Mrs. Newcomm was a member of the Church of Christ of Coon Rapids. She loved her Lord and His church in which she found great comfort. Hers was not merely a hope of the life that now is, but of that which is to be, eternal. "Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord". What a glorious hope in view of the fact that "The living know that they must die". Funeral services were conducted Sunday at 2 p. m. from the Church of Christ in Coon Rapids by Rev J. A. Sawn of Bagley. Her remains were laid to rest in the Coon Rapids cemetery.
