Description	:	Alta Fae Taylor daughter of Clara A. and Grant Taylor was born near Clearmont, Mo, May 22, 1893. She departed this life in the hospital at Forest City, Iowa, September 20, 1949. Alta was the third child of a family of ten children. In 1909 the Taylor family moved from Missouri to a farm northeast of New Market where Alta grew to womanhood, June 4, 1913, she was married to Fred T. Foster of New Market. They started their married life on a farm west of New Market and in 1917 moved to the farm southwest of New Market... Alta was the third child of a family of ten children. In 1909 the Taylor family moved from Missouri to a farm northeast of New Market where Alta grew to womanhood, June 4, 1913, she was married to Fred T. Foster of New Market. They started their married life on a farm west of New Market and in 1917 moved to the farm southwest of New Market where they were living at the time of her death. To this union two children were born, Harold Burton and Dona Fae, both living in this community. She was active in the Methodist church of New Market. She was a member of the Eastern Star Lodge and also of the Farm Women's Social club. Those she leaves to mourn her death are her husband, Fred; two children, Harold Burton Foster and Dona Fae Cade, her daughter-in-law, Arlene Foster; her son-in-law Verlin O. Cade; two granddaughters, Judy Sue Foster and Janet Leigh Cade. Six sisters and two brothers survive, Mrs Will Nicholas, Burlington Junction, Mo; Mrs Earl Leaverton, Kansas City, Mo; Mrs Roy Cline, Kansas City, Mo; Mrs Hazel McAlpin, Clarinda; Loyd Taylor, Red Oak; Mrs Elbert Borden, New Market; Mrs Nathan Wilcox, Tusa, Okla; Theodore Taylor, Los Angeles, Calif; all of them here.
