Description	:	Alva Harmon Johnson was my Grandfather.He was the sixth child of Henry L.W. Johnson, and his wife, Eliza A.C. Rabon Johnson. He married Carrie Lyde Grainger about 1904. They had nine children, George Earnest, Henry Harmon, L. Palmer, Lydia Myrtle, Mary Helen, Teresa, L.E., Irene Temperance {my mother}, and Inez Johnson. He died from heart trouble, an enlarged heart, I have heard. My mother was seven when he passed, so she remembered little about him, except he "rested" a lot-probably due to his heart condition.
