Read More	From the June 3, 1910 edition of the Evening Times-Republican, page 8: OBITUARY. Jones. Alvin Lee, aged 13, elder son of Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Jones, of Luray, died Thursday afternoon at 1:30 after a short illness. The lad had suffered since birth with goiter, and five days ago caught a severe cold, which settled in his throat and caused death by strangling. Diphtheria was at first feared, but the attending physician found no symptoms of that disease. Aside from the parents the lad is survived by one brother, Lewis, aged 8. The funeral will be held Saturday morning at 9 o'clock from the residence, Rev. L. S. Hand of Vancleve, officiating. Interment will be in the Albion Cemetery.
