He married Margaret Elizabeth Denham Sept. 16, 1941, in Marys-ville, Mo. He farmed in Ida County until 1953, then was em-ployed by Hultgren Implement Company for 30 years. He also worked for Farmer's Co-op in Ida Grove and from 1967-72 was service mechanic for Corbin's 66 Station. He then returned to Hultgren's, retiring in 1979. Survivors include his wife; three sons, Alvin Jr. and his wife, Mary Corbin of Ida Grove, Martin and his wife, Wanda Corbin of Defiance, and Myron Corbin of Arthur; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; a sister-in-law, Ruth Corbin of Smithland; and a brother-in-law and his wife, Robert Elsa Denham of Stevens Point, Wis.
