Description	:	Alvord C. Banks, 80, of rural Westfield, died Saturday (April 14, 1984) on his farm of an apparent heart attack. Services were held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, April 17 in the Westfield Congregational church. The Rev. Lester Norton officiated. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery at Akron, under the direction of the Schroeder funeral home of Akron. Pallbearers were James Buryanek, Lou Conway, Tom Martin, David Lilly, Jr., Ed Tracy, and Joe Birkley. Mr. Banks was born Oct. 6, 1903, near Milnerville. He married Evelyn Lilly, July 9, 1927. He was preceded in death by his parents, Florence Ross and Joseph Banks, one son Roger and one great-granddaughter, Brenda.
