Description	:	Mandy is the daughter of Harris Noblin and Harriet (Blackwell) Mount. In about 1885, she planted a Cypress tree on the Mount family farm that still stood as of 2009. She married Richard Stephenson on Feb. 11, 1881, and they had at least seven children: Walter W. (March 23, 1882), Dona. (Dec. 10, 1883), Nora (March 15, 1884), Sadie "Zaddie" C. (Oct. 16, 1890), Ben H. (December 1892) James Edward (May 7, 1895), Mattie Raymond (Aug. 4, 1897) and Raymond (July, 7, 1902). James Edward's son, Fred, said by phone in December 2008 he remembered little about his grandmother, who died when he was about 10: "She lived down at the Stephenson place. She had a big cedar tree in the front yard. She had a bunch of white rabbits and they mated under that Cedar tree." Richard and Mandy are buried next to each other at Cypress United Church Cemetery in Crockett County.
