| Description | : | From her obituary in the Journal Reporter Thurs. Jan. 24, 1935. In part it said, Amanda Jane Akes was united in marriage to Thomas Otis Umphress of Leon on April 19, 1892. To this union six children were born. She leaves to mourn her departure her devoted husband and five dear children; Earl Raymond of Osceola; William Price of Leon; Lavicy Angeline Ingram of Mt.
