She died Tuesday, November 23, 1993, at her home in Geneva at the age of 76 years, 8 months, and 29 days. Amelia was baptized on March 1, 1917, and received first communion on May 2, 1926, at St. Mary's Church in Shickley. Amelia was baptized on March 1, 1917, and received first communion on May 2, 1926, at St. Mary's Church in Shickley. Amelia attended mass all her life and was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Geneva at the time of her death. Amelia was united in holy matrimony to Wilbur John Kelch on February 24, 1938. To this union was born a daughter, Shirley Ann. Amelia resided in the Shickely and Geneva area all her life. Amelia enjoyed gardening, her flowers, cooking and spending time with family and friends. She especially enjoyed family gatherings and took great pleasure in spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Amelia worked at Maryland's Café, Blanke's and for the last 26 years at the VFW Club in Geneva. She enjoyed her jobs and the many friendships made through her employments. Amelia was preceded in death by her parents, Nicholas and Hattie Weber; one brother Herman Weber; and her husband, Wilbur Kelch. She is survived by her daughter Shirley (Norbert) Finke; three grandchildren Kim (Steve)Powell-Roth; Doug Powell and Becky (Max) Degenhardt; two step-grandchildren, Kyle (Barb) Finke; and Kory Finke; six great-grandchildren, Dustin, Jamie, and Jeremy Powell; Colby, Craig, and Nikki Degenhardt; and one step-great-grandchild, Megan Finke.
