Description : Amos, son of Abraham Golden, married Elizabeth, daughter of Ethan Smith and Ruth Sexton about 1791. Elizabeth Smith was born 2 January 1773.
Amos and Elizabeth (Smith) Golden resided on the homestead of his father, Abraham. Amos was killed by falling from a load of lumber, on his way home from Trenton, 23 June 1804. He was 32 years old. Elizabeth remained his widow for the rest of her life.
