His death ocurred at midnight, and placed at rest his body following an illness of several weeks. The voice of our loved one was silenced but death could not take away the influence of good he had done, for best of all he was a man who knew God, and lived with God day and night. His live was a shining light in his home, in his church, and wherever he went. He was a deacon in the Formosa Baptist Church, of which he was a member, and loved his church and Sunday School work, and was a faithful member until his declining health. During his illness he was given every attention and care by loved ones and friends, who visited him often during his long illness. He will be sadley missed in every walk of life by his family. Funeral services were held in the Formosa Baptist Church, the day following his death. Elder Claude Jenkins conducting the services. Interment was made in Union Hill cemetery. He leaves to mourn his death, his wife, three children, Herman Oliger of Formosa; Mrs. Lindell Stobaugh of Risco, Missouri; and Thelma Oliger of the home; nine grandchildren, three sisters and four brothers, many other relatives and a host of friends. Christ said "Come unto Me all ye that are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." ""
