Description	:	Mrs. Esther Oliger, 98, of Formosa, died Friday, December 22, 1995. Funeral was at 3 p.m. December 23, at the Formosa Baptist Church, with Rev. Earl Goatcher officiating. She was born on January 25, 1897 at Formosa, a daughter of Melvin G. and Elizabeth Bennett Brewer. She was the widow of Amos Oliger. She entered Van Buren County nursing Home in October, 1990 and resided there until her death. Read More	Mrs. Esther Oliger, 98, of Formosa, died Friday, December 22, 1995. Funeral was at 3 p.m. December 23, at the Formosa Baptist Church, with Rev. Earl Goatcher officiating. She was born on January 25, 1897 at Formosa, a daughter of Melvin G. and Elizabeth Bennett Brewer. She was the widow of Amos Oliger. She entered Van Buren County nursing Home in October, 1990 and resided there until her death. Three children, Eulas Oliger, Herman Oliger and Thelma Williams, preceded her in death. She is survived by a daughter, Betty Jewel Stobaugh of Risco, Mo.; a sister, Hazel Cheek of North Little Rock; 11 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 24 great-great-grandchildren. Pallbearers were grandsons and great-grandsons. Burial was at Union Hill Cemetery near Austin by Harris Funeral Home of Morrilton. Memorials may be made to Formosa Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.
