Description	:	WILLIAMSON-In Tipton, Iowa, at the home of Mr. Vincent Shinn, March 31, 1893, Miss Amy E. Williamson, aged 62 years, 10 months and 3 days. She was born in Summerset county, N.J., and when nine years old moved with her parents to Ohio and from there in 1851, to Cedar county, Ia., where the remainder of her days were spent. Her illness was of several months' continuance, during which she was tenderly cared for by her sister, Mrs. Shinn. She was born in Summerset county, N.J., and when nine years old moved with her parents to Ohio and from there in 1851, to Cedar county, Ia., where the remainder of her days were spent. Her illness was of several months' continuance, during which she was tenderly cared for by her sister, Mrs. Shinn. In 1875 Miss Williamson confessed Christ and united with the Free Will Baptist church of Mt. Zion and died in the same communion. Her mortal remains were interred in the Mt. Williamson, was born in Summerset county, N.Y. May 28th, 1830, and died in Tipton, Iowa, March 31st, 1893, aged 62 years, 10 months and 3 days. In 1839 her parents moved to Ohio, and in 1851 came to Cedar county, Iowa, where the subject of this sketch spent the remainder of her days. Her illness was of several months continuance during which time she was tenderly cared for by her sister, Mrs. Shinn, of Tipton, at her own home. She confessed her faith in Christ by uniting with the Free Will Baptist church at Mt. Zion, in the churchyard of which congregation her mortal remains were laid to rest with appropriate services April 1st, I.J. Tipton; were born in Somerset Co., N.J.; they came to this county with their parents in Oct. 1851; they own thirty-eight acres of land. Their father, Cornelius Williamson, was born in Somerset Co., N.J. He married Mahala Bishop from the same place; they came by wagon to Cedar Co., being five weeks on the way; arrived October, 1851; they had six children--Abraham, Amy E., Charity, Rachel A., Henrietta. Lost one daughter--Sarah Jane. Mr. Williamson died July 14, 1852; Mrs. Williamson, died 1870.
